Learn windshifts & laylines — collect the coins!

No hints and with hints are ranked separately.
The wind blows from the top (north) and shifts left & right on its own. The rounded compass shows the wind direction, with a thin ring for the next shift and a green or red half-ring showing which way it will turn.
Your craft sails upwind at a fixed angle to the wind. The field is wide — the camera scrolls to follow your craft.
Press the tack keys to switch between the left and right tack and steer toward the coins. Coins appear from the top — grab them for points!
Player 1: ← → arrows · shoot Space · Player 2: A / D · shoot Shift · Pause: P or Esc
On a phone or tablet, tap anywhere on the water to switch tack — and use the ● button to shoot. With two players, tap the left half of the screen for P1 and the right half for P2.
Shallow water on the sides slows you down. At Level 2+, obstacles drift in and stick to your craft — shoot them 5 times to break them in two, or tack around them!
Each craft has 3 lives. You lose one after 5 bullet hits. In shared-screen two-player games, getting left behind off the bottom of the screen also costs a life; in 1 Player vs 🤖 and online each camera follows its own craft and going off-screen is safe. Lose all 3 and the race is over.
Solo play adds a computer rival. Turn on laylines in Settings to see your projected path.
Big whirlpools can catch your craft: cross the dark centre and you will spin several times before being flung to a random side. A lucky obstacle impact can also release a heart capsule — at most one per level — for an extra life!
Each vehicle has its own weapon: the rocket fires a single shot, the saucer fires a fast laser, and the jet fires a three-shot spread.
At Level 5, fast dolphin pods sweep across the lane in a V formation and spit water at the nearest craft. Tack through the gaps between them, dodge the squirts, or hit each dolphin 3 times.

Borneos 2 keeps storage on your device to a minimum. This page explains what is saved, why, and how to remove it.
No analytics, advertising, profiling, or third-party tracking is used by this game.
Local data stays until you clear this site’s data in your browser.
If you submit a leaderboard score, the server stores the player name, score, date, and whether hints were used. Online multiplayer uses a temporary room code and game messages; these are not used for advertising or profiling.
The hosting provider may process connection data such as IP addresses and server logs to operate and secure the service.
The local storage listed above supports features you request: remembering language and settings, offline play, the local leaderboard fallback, and notice status. The operator treats it as strictly necessary for those features. Leaderboard data is processed because you choose to publish an entry and the operator has a legitimate interest in running and securing the public ranking; hosting logs are processed for service operation and security.
Leaderboard entries remain on the server until the operator removes them or they are replaced by higher scores. Local data remains until you clear it.
Leaderboard names are public. Do not enter your full real name.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to complain to your local data protection authority. EU/EEA users have these rights under the GDPR.
To remove data saved in this browser, use your browser’s “clear site data” option. To request deletion of a leaderboard entry, contact the operator.
